Junior match on Richardson lake

Seven budding match stars turned out on what became a blisteringly hot day, which saw the fish turn off in most areas. One young star who found some bites was Jack Dodge, son of top southern match man Darren! With a little help from dad, Jack, who’s only 6, managed to net 12lb 1oz of tench, skimmers and crucians from peg 13, fishing short pole with caster. Note: His dad always draws well at Marsh!!!

Second highest weight was regular Tye Hackman who switched from pole to method feeder and was rewarded with 10lb 1oz of bream, skimmers and a tench.

Unfortunately the weights dropped from there on, but at least everyone caught and went home with prizes and goody bags. Next match is on Broadwater on 5^th Sept, so please book in as soon as possible so we can have enough pegs available.
