This was a very exciting and close run match with 1lb 6oz separating the top 6 anglers! ben emery, who coaches the match lads, reckoned it was the best junior match we have had at Marsh Farm and the close result shows just how much progress the juniors have made. To add to the tension there were still 3 juniors who could mathematically win the summer league title!
The match was won by Jake Tong on peg 9 with10lb 12oz. Jake was not in the running for the summer league title having only fished two matches. Second was Reggie Pierre (peg 7) with 10lb 6 and third Ralphie Shearer on peg 13 with 9lb 14.
This left Finley Tester as the summer league winner on 6 points, Finley wins the Janaway Cup for this year. Ralphie Shearer was second ion 8 points and Haydon third on 9.

This proved a tricky match again with the bream not feeding.
Finley Tester on peg 9 made the best of the conditions with a couple of big tench and decent silvers on the long pole for14lb 6oz . Haydon fished up in the water for rudd on peg 12 and came second with 6lb 10 closely followed by Leo hackman with a silvers net of 6lb 4.
League-wise Finley and Ralphie are now tied on 9 points having fished 4. Haydon is on 10 having fished 3, Cameron on 14 after 3 and Leo on 17 and Zak on 21 after 3.
Remember the best 4 results count over the summer so there is plenty of time to "loose" a bad result!

A cool morning after overnight rain saw the fishing slow up for Round 3 of the summer league. Finley Tester on Peg 12 put together a decent 8lb 7 of mainly roach on caster whilst Cameron Eadie on Peg 13 came close with 8lb 1 -helped bay a big bream in the last couple of minutes!

This was an exiting match fished in cool conditions which meant the bream fed late. It was too close to call at the weigh-in with 4 anglers split by only 2lb in weight. In the end Ralphie Shearer on peg 12 took the honours with 17lb 12 just ahead of Haydon on peg 13 who managed 16lb 13oz.
