Contractors for Waverley Borough Council are currently working near the overspill at Broadwater.

The footpath is closed in this section but you can get round by using the pavement on the main road.

There is no impact on fishing swims.

The National Trust have informed us that they will be working on the bridge from the 30th of June to the 26th July.

As a result the car park will be closed but anglers can still access the river.

They apologise for any inconvenience.

The FMC will meet on the 16th of April at 7.30 pm.
