27th - 30th January - Broadwater tree works

Tree works are scheduled around Broadwater lake from the 27th to 30th January.


Fishing will be permitted but there may be some disruption from boats and noise from tree works during this period.

We apologise for any inconvenience.

 

 

26,27 and 28 Nov - SILTEX application

SILTEX is scheduled to be applied to our lakes on these dates:

 

26th November- Broadwater and Marsh Farm

27th November- Marsh farm and Johnson's

28th November- Wood Lake

 

These dates may change slightly depending on how smoothly the work goes.

 


There will be some minor disruption during the application and the lakes may slightly cloud up afterwards for a while.  

We apologise for any inconvenience and the late notice.

 

 

Bait rule changes for Johnson's Lake

To promote better fish welfare the general committee has agreed the following rule changes regarding bait use at Johnson's lake:

 


  1. The use of maize, nuts, pulses, beans, parti-mix and bird conditioner is not allowed. Other particles such as hemp, sweetcorn and tares can be used.

     

  2. The  use of spods and spombs is banned from the 1st December to  last day of February inclusive

 

Please note that rule change 1 applies all year round.
