On Wednesday 5th April 2017 member Steve Scoltock fished Johnson's lake and caught a crucian of 4lb 9oz, just 1oz short of the current British record.

Steve fished a day session on the railway bank from 9:30 until 19:30, catching just three fish, all crucians weighing 2lb 13oz, then 3lb 8oz and finally the 4lb 9oz fish. 

Whilst fishing at Johnson's on Monday 27th March 2017 Steve Chatfield landed an excellent 6lb 14oz tench, the best of a three caught on the day.

Whilst fishing at Johnson's on Wednesday 19th October Bob Armstrong landed a cracking 4lb 4oz crucian from the chicken farm bank.
