2016 Christmas match

Thirty Eight turned out for the Christmas match this year on Marsh Farm, after some debate we decided to keep everybody on Richardson lake rather than spread out on to Harris. Given the time of year it was always going to be a hard match on the lakes but the general opinion was the facilities and comfortable fishing outweighed the parking issues and long walks on the river and in the end the weights turned out better than the last few river results anyway. The fish were shoaled up in pockets and that was reflected in the results so here is the full result.

We had a nice do with refeshments supplied by Wendy from the garage and Teas etc by Roy fianders wife Sarah. Chris Kampa bought and sorted all the match prizes and raffle prizes. What a star!!!. Dave Woolgar sold all the raffle tickets we had at the start so we had to send out for more which Jim Findlay sold at the end of the match and supplemented the raffle with extra prizes from Apollo. It was nice to see familiar faces at the Christmas match and we wish you all a merry Christmas and a happy new year.
