2013 Work Party information

 

All of last season’s new joiners should have already been advised by post of the dates for this year’s work parties.  If for some reason you were a new joiner last season and have not received a letter please attend Marsh Farm on one of the dates listed below.

 

This year there are two scheduled work party dates generally available for existing members as follows:

 

APRIL:   Sunday 14^th

MAY:     Sunday 12^th

 

 

Please go to Marsh Farm arriving by 8am latest please.  You will then be allocated to one of our waters where work is being done on that day.

 

Whilst the Society is able to supply some tools it would be helpful if you could bring a shovel, spade, loppers etc. and general purpose/gardening gloves. The nature of the work also means you will need to have suitable waterproof footwear (wellington boots are an ideal option, plus waders if you have them).  DO NOT however bring chainsaws or similar as these are not allowed.
