Location: Our section of the River Wey starts at Upper Eashing by the A3 bridge and splits into two, running over the overspill to run through the fields on the left and over the weir at The Stag Pool on the right rejoining under the ancient arched Eashing bridge and heading off down through the fields. This section is good for stalking as well as setting your stool out for summer and early winter barbel and chub. We can fish both sides of the river in this stretch. Further downstream we swap over to the right hand bank for the Stovolds section. (Refer to permit for details of access etc to Stovolds). The next section has to be accessed from Pepper Harrow Road in Godalming where the section known as Salgasson (owned by the Club) runs through to the town centre and the Upper Common Meadows section behind the Towns bowling greens. This is reached by either the style near the railway bridge or from opposite the church on the main A3100. The church side of the road is the start of Lower Common Meadows which runs on through to the short navigation section above Farncombe boathouse. From there on down is Firs Bridge followed by the Colonel Grounds which are opposite Broadwater Lake. The next section is known as Tilthams and this runs into the Broadford Bridge stretch followed by St. Catherines Lock and on to Guildford Rowing Club. At the back of Tilthams is the Trunley Heath section which we also currently rent.
