Snow greeted the competitors on this one but Perry on 56 in Salgasson caught steadily all day on the stick catching small roach and dace. Colin also in Salgasson on “The Drug House” 70 used similar tactics for second. Dave on 81 in upper common had three Perch for third and Max in Salgasson 55 was fourth.

Bob on peg 14 had five bream in quick succession around 2pm to narrowly win this one from  Eddie on the next peg 15. Perry on 9 had several skimmers on the feeder for third and Paul on 19 had several Chub for fourth. See separate chart for league placing

Dave won this one from the shortest walk to the end of the car park at “Seven arches peg 21, Richard at the other end of the “deeps” on peg 30 was just 3oz short of a win with both taking quality Roach and Perch on red maggot. Mark on peg 8 was third and Stuart on 20 fourth. See separate league tables for league.

Eddie won this from a very leafy Busbridge with the wind blowing all the leaves into the clear end we were fishing soon after the start. It was a blessing in disguise though as the top three all had major leaf issues all day but the fish were feeding under them in the gloom.

Eddie on peg 4 won comfortably using Waggler and pole to caster and hemp, Gordon on the Oaks peg 25 pole fished similar tactics for second, Ed on the “point 29 was third and Mark on on 6 was fourth.

Perry Gray held on to win the summer league this year (See separate chart). Well done Perry.

Paul won this match on a gin clear river from the join at the bottom of lower common with a mixed bag of small fish. Simon on the “Doctors” had two chub in his second place catch whilst Chris half way down lower had another mixed bag, bob also in lower was fourth.

Perry on peg 44 had a good mixed bag of Tench Crucians skimmers on the pole. Richard on 47 had a similar bag for second narrowly beating Paul on his resident peg in the reeds. Roger on 14 was fourth.

Centenary cup winner Alex on peg 6 on the rugby bank caught all day on boilies and bags from Paul on peg 28 by the aerator round from the point who fished pellet and bags for second. Steve Sharpe fished the method on peg 12 near the bottom car park to take third from John on peg 4

The two David's made this one a family affair with little David coming out on top from the corner peg 20 next to the lily pad with a fabulous catch of Crucians with just a couple of Tench for good measure all on the pole fishing expander pellet. Big Dave on peg 34 used the same tactics to to take a mixed Crucian Tench catch. Simon switch tactics halfway through the match and in his words went over to the dark side using carp gear and optonics to come third, with Paul on peg 4 taking fourth.

Those of us around peg 12 had some light entertainment when Mark Hathway lost his top tree on a small Tench, as it disappeared across the lake he dived in and did the free style in true Olympic fashion to catch the Tench and the top up, then he rolled over and did the back stroke back to the bank playing the fish as he went.

This match was a complete sell out with 42 anglers fishing in the end filling the lake. The fishing was good for many with the 5 hour match record going with Eddie on peg 13 on the rugby bank taking carp all day on pellet and pellet bags. Alex on the Oaks peg 32 caught against the island in a similar fashion and Colin on the road bank peg 42 used pellet and feeder. D Kirk from Dorking next to the winner on 12 was 4^th.

John on peg 8 had a late run of bream on the tip with red maggot to win from Roger on peg 16 who caught early into the match on Caster and red maggot. Dennis on peg 17 fished the lead and red maggot and Dave on 27 pole fished for skimmers and Roach for fourth. See separate chart for updated league.

The river was awful again for the third match in a row with many competitors vowing to boycott river matches in future especially as once again there was no sign of those who campaign for more river matches. Not a single Chub or Bream was caught and all the weights came from “Upper Common” with Salgasson now turned into Crayfish alley. Dave on favorite peg 81 made it three in a row for this peg with a bag of small fish, Richard on 75 was second and Kieth on 71 ware second and third with Perry on 72 coming in fourth

Sorry only got top two this week, Richard won the match from the Outfall at the North bank with a bag of large bream.
Chris on 148 at Norbury Park left it late taking seven chub in the last hour for second. See separate chart for league latest.

Rob had the much fancied second to last peg in the causeway (End peg on the day) to take the usual mix of small Carp, Barbel and Ide. Luke and Lee both in the middle of their banks fished really well for second and third with Steve Moore in the corner on the first bank narrowly piped Roger by 1oz for fourth

As Salgasson was a disaster again all the weights came from upper common. Perry on the Privet bush 81 had 8lb of bits, Simon on 75 had a similar catch of bits for second. Ken despite falling in came third from 77 and Dave on 82 was fourth.

Luke drew the flier 44 as usual and made no mistakes to win with Carp and Barbel at close range. Mark on 34 fished paste for a close second, Lee on 2 fished the feeder due to the windiest peg on the lake for third and John on 6 fished maggot at 3 mtrs for fourth.

Eddie on the Heli Pad (Chicken bank) peg 25 caught all day on the feeder and red maggot and corn to take a comfortable win with Tench to 8lb  from and infancied peg. Second was a much closer affair with just 12oz separating 2^nd 3^rd and 4^th, Luke on 28 (Chicken Bank), Steve Sharpe 9 (Railway bank) and Perry Gray 30 (Chicken bank).

Chris won this struggle on the river with a Carp and a few bits from 82 (Opp council offices) from Luke with a similar catch from the adjacent 81. Stuart and Frank tied for 3^rd from 76 & 63.

John on peg 8 caught six Bream up in the water in the latter stages of the match on caster. Max on 37 caught on the tip and waggler again with skimmers, whilst Ken pole fished meat on peg 31 to take two big Tench and a few bits for third. Paul on 13 had three early bream for fourth.
